Serving

Jesus calls us to serve others, not only within DPC but also those around us.  Some of the ways we do this at Darebin Presbyterian Church are listed below.

Serving our wider community

As a church DPC is passionate about engaging with, and serving our local community.  Currently we run a Christmas Lunch each year, in partnership with SPAN Community House, for those who live at the Agg St Public Housing Flats.

We also partner with Kids Hope to run a one on one mentoring program at Thornbury Primary School for some of their students who need it most.

If you have a need, or know of an opportunity for us to serve in the local community, please let us know.

Serving on Sundays

We believe that God has given all Christians particular gifts and talents to glorify Him and encourage the rest of his people.  There are lots of great opportunities for you to use your gifts to love and serve others during our Sunday Services.

If you’re a regular at our church we’d love you to fill out this survey to find where you might best be able to serve within our Church

Giving

The good news about Jesus is completely free, so if you’re not a Christian, or not a regular at DPC, we do not want your money!

But if you’re a DPC regular and would like to support our ministry click here.

Praying

Our hope is that DPC would be a church in which prayer is a part of the regular rhythms of our community life. That said, we do have some regular times when we encourage all regulars to meet together to pray. We meet at 10am on the 3rd Saturday of each month, and once per term for a Kingdom Prayer and Praise night.

Details about the next meeting can be found here
